Danny Ray McGuire, 62, of Roland, OK, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Fort Smith. He was born October 26, 1949 in Fort Smith, AR. He was a maintenance man for Clayton Welding, Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of VFW Post 8384 in Muldrow, OK.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roland City Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.
He is survived by his wife Clara Ann McGuire, one son Scott McGuire of Roland, OK, one daughter Maria Mersberger of Fort Smith, AR, three sisters Susie McGuire of Roland, OK, Brenda Gregory of Fort Smith, AR and Tiny McGuire of Roland, OK and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Mersberger, Phillip Knight, Johnny Clayton, Jr. Randy Irvin, Billy Haga and Joe Day.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening, September 4, 2012, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
