Dibrell L. Duval

Dibrell L. Duval, 80, passed away February 2, 2012. He was born December 1, 1931 in Fort Smith to Dibrell and Katherine Smythe Duval. He retired as an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service, and was a retired Captain in the U.S. Army reserves. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, was a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and was the former editor for the Oil and Gas Journal.

Burial of cremains and graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2012, at Fort Smith National cemetery. Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John C. Duval of Atlanta, GA.

He is survived by two first cousins, Sue Epperson Daly and her husband Jim, of Fort Smith and Nan Wenderoth Pierce of Hot Springs, AR. He is also survived by numerous other cousins.
