Donald L. Flint

Donald L. Flint, 78, of Barling, AR, passed away Saturday July 23, 2011. He was born February 20, 1933 in Clarksville, AR to Elmer and Ruby Looper Flint. He was retired owner of Flint Tire Company. He was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jane Tobalsky.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Cheshier officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Larry Jean Flint, two daughters Jan Flint Share of Polkville, MS and Bobbie Brown and husband Bruce of Muldrow, OK, one son Mike Flint and wife Melissa of Greenwood, AR, one sister Betty White and husband Jim of Little Rock, AR, one brother Elmer Wendell Flint and wife Pearl of Little Rock, AR, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Allen-Michael Share, John Brown, Shane Brown and Trey Stephens and Zack Freeman and Mike Bain.

The family will visit with friends Monday evening, July 25, 2011, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
