Donald Stuart Moir, Sr., 74, of Little Rock, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1949 in Woodbury, NJ to the late George and Dorothy Moir. Donald was an architectural designer in the construction industry. He loved fast cars and racing; he was an avid Arkansas Razorback sports fan. Donald was also a 2023 Fort Smith Southside Hall of Fame inductee.
He is survived by his son, Donnie Moir of Canton, OH, his sister, Peggy Moir Shockley of Fort Smith and his brother, Jackie Moir, also of Fort Smith. Along with family, Donald is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Shockley.
There will be a celebration of life, but nothing is currently scheduled, cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
