

Don Parker, 74, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Greenwood. He was born November 16, 1941 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Leland Parker and Lorene Rollans. He was a retired salesman for Tandy Craft in Texas after 25 years. He was a ham radio operator with the call sign of KK5D and long standing member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 208. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Parker of the home; a daughter, Shelly Raney and husband Billy Jack of Lavaca; a son, Todd Parker and wife Tiffany of Fort Smith; a sister, Beverly Starr and husband Calvin of Pearland, TX; a brother, Pat Hopkins of Fort Smith; and six grandchildren, Jessicah and Joshuah Moudy, Dennis and Daniel Taylor, and Kaitlynd and Abby Parker.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with interment of cremains at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
