

Eddie Lou Viguet Steinmetz Hale, 86 of Orlando, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas where she attended Fort Smith High School and was in Tri-Delta sorority, and was heavily involved in rodeo and horseback riding. She moved to Merritt Island in 1965 where she was the PTA President for Gardendale elementary and was instrumental in implementing very profitable fund raising events for that school. She was also a Girls Auxiliary Leader at the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island. She lived most of her life in Orlando, Florida where she was part owner and operator in an online virtual reality chat room called Onlive Traveler where she had amazing virtual reality rooms for people all over the world to gather and chat. She is preceded in death by her parents Lorene Hamilton Viguet McCain and Edgar C. McCain of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband Bob W. Hale, of the home; her son Michael E. Steinmetz, her daughter Randall K. Steinmetz-Dorman, grand-daughter Rachel Dorman, great grandson Dillon Dorman, and great grand-daughter Lilianna Oliva, all of Orlando, Florida, and her brother Robert Joel Viguet of Ft Smith, Arkansas. There will be a graveside service 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Lyles Chapel Cemetery, Booneville, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
Public Viewing will be from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
