Edith Marie Teague, 66, of Fort Smith, passed away on January 7, 2022. She was born on August 6, 1955 in Longview, TX to Harold McElyea and Marie Logel McElyea. She graduated from Southside High School. Edith was a pet groomer for many years. She enjoyed writing and singing her own songs along with playing the guitar and keyboard. She love spending time with her family and friends.
Edith was preceded in death by her mother, Marie McElyea and brother, Clint McElyea.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Walker of the home; one daughter, Brandy Chester (Justin Garrett) of Fort Smith; one son, Jayson Logel of Fort Smith; two sisters, Cindy McDonald (Doyle) of Muldrow, OK, Diane Corley of Yukon, OK; two brothers, Billy McElyea (Penny) of Barling, Gary McElyea (Lisa) of Sallisaw; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
