Elizabeth Roberts

Elizabeth Roberts, 54, of Barling passed away Sunday, April 12, 2014. She was born March 21, 1960 in Redlands, CA to Dale & Eupha Thompson. Beth was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church as well as the Director of Religious Education at the Church. She was a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theology from St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK. She was the Membership Specialist with the Girl Scouts and also in charge of the adult leaders in Girl Scouts. She was preceded in death by her father Dale Edward Thompson.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ft. Smith. The family will visit with friends after the Rosary. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Ft. Smith.

She is survived by her husband John, her daughter Mary Roberts of Ft. Smith, her son William Clayton Roberts of Chicago, IL, her mother Eupha Thompson, her brother Scott Thompson and his wife Regina of Ft. Smith, and her granddaughter, Sylvia Louise Elam of Ft. Smith.
