Emmalynn Rae Gipson

Infant Emmalynn Rae Gipson, was born July 31, 2012 in Fort Smith and went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2012 while in Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She is the daughter of Derek and Lindsey Gipson of Fort Smith. Emmalynn blessed us with joy, love, and inspiration for 118 days here on earth but it will last for a lifetime. The light of God shined through her eyes and being close to her made you feel closer to our Heavenly Father. She might have tiny feet, but she left mighty large Footprints on this earth and in our hearts. Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She is survived by her parents Derek and Lindsey Gipson of Fort Smith; paternal grandparents, James Ray and Terri Gipson both of Greenwood, and Don and Cheri Moore of Baldknob, AR; maternal grandparents are Van and Leslie Hale of Fort Smith; great grandparents are Claire Huggins and Jay Gipson both of Fort Smith. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel and cremation will follow the service all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
