Evelyn E Thomas

Evelyn “Mama T” Thomas, 99 of Fort Smith passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was a homemaker and a member of Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church of Mountainburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Acie Thomas and three daughters, Norma Hartsock, Evelyn Jean Thomas and Vera Pauline Thomas.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Bonanza Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery in Hartford, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Webb of Midland, TX, June Phillips of Greenland, AR and Tammie Clark of Coosbay, OR; two sons, Butch Thomas and Donald Thomas, both of Mountainburg; two sisters, Frances McDonald of Fort Smith and Ruth Smithy of Arizona. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Hartsock, Roger Don Phillips, Brad Phillips, Mike Thomas, Skip Jacobs and Aaron Jacobs. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
