

George Thomas “Tommy” Dill, 72, of Fort Smith, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Tommy had different businesses, over the years, but is best remembered, for being in the car business, for over forty years. You may remember, “ Honest Tom, The Walk’n Mans Friend”. His funeral service will be held at 10AM, Monday, at Van Buren First Free Will Baptist Church, with interment at Cottonwood cemetery, near Muldrow, Oklahoma. Tommy is survived by his wife, Kay, of the home. Also two daughters, Sherry Thompson and her husband Mike, of Fort Smith, and Sarah Fowler and, her husband Donald, of Barling. Three step sons, Ronnie Earl Smith and Sammy Joe Smith, both of Fort Smith and James Rattcliff, of Texas. One sister, Jennifer Cain, of Hot Springs, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be, between the hours of 2pm and 4pm, on Sunday, at Edwards Funeral Home, in Fort Smith. Pallbearers are Clyde Booth, Tom Wheeler,Alan Wray, Mike Hickman, Mike Stewart and Donnie Edwards. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Srygley, Robert Winters, Elliot Clegg, Harold White, Cosby Hodges, and J.V. Brotherton.
