Grace Neal

Grace Neal, 83 of Ft. Smith, passed away Friday, February 03, 2017. She was born May 17, 1933 in Hartman, AR to the late Dave and Mary Smith. She had a very strong faith in God and supported many charities. She loved to can, sew, quilt and was a retired seamstress from the Hill Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Ruby, and two brothers; Kenneth and J.D. Smith.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Fentress Mortuary with burial to follow at the Old Union Cemetery in Hackett, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Grace is survived by her husband William “Bill” of the home; one daughter Bonnie Humphrey of Ft. Smith, five sons; David Neal of Van Buren, Harold Neal, Joe Neal, and Bill Neal all of Ft. Smith, and Dale Neal of Elkins, AR. She is also survived by three sisters; Cana Lou Balance of Lavaca, Linda Smith and Mary Alice both of Ft. Smith, and five brothers; Ralph Smith of Little Rock, Thomas Smith of Mansfield, Pat Smith of Altus, Ronnie Smith of Ft. Smith, and Charles Smith of Gore, OK. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at the funeral home.
