Hazel Scott

Hazel Scott, 82 of Arkoma, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born on February 18, 1930 in Hartshorne, OK. She was a retired teller for City National Bank and a member of Arkoma First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Scott.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Arkoma First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

She is survived by two daughters; Kathy Rodgers of Springdale and Suezzeettee Castro of Arkoma; a son, Johnnie Carol Scott and his wife Donna, of Barling; nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her cat, Little Bit.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Arkoma First Baptist Church.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
