Irene Montgomery, 85, of Van Buren, died May 24, 2010 in Fort Smith. She was born August 18, 1924 in Greenwood, AR to Garland Lee and Jannie Mae Bartlett Holt. She was retired from the Accounting Office of Arkansas Best Freight. She loved to shop for Antiques and was a great Collector.
She is survived by a niece, Tina and husband Dan Downing of Sand Springs, OK; two great nieces, Deanie & Daelyn Downing and one great nephew, Dalton Downing all of Sand Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis H. Montgomery.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
