Our beautiful matriarch peacefully transitioned to heaven, her heart was as big as our large family. From her beautiful life stems 5 children, 3 stepchildren, 18 grandchildren, 21 great, and great-great grandchildren.
Her family was everything to her. She did whatever she could to attend our special events, and never forgot a birthday. We aspire to have a heart as pure and kind as hers.
Her middle name was Joy and nothing could describe her more. Jackie Joy’s love for babies, pets and Avon products could not be matched by anyone. We can still feel her hugs, soft skin, and still hear her sweet southern voice so clearly.
We will forever cherish the pictures she took of us in front of her seasonally decorated fireplace. The past few years her memory had declined, yet she still spoke of how much she loved her family.
We know she is in heaven and completely whole again. She can look down on her legacy and know how immensely she is loved.
Rest In Peace, Jackie Joy, and enjoy the dance and the feast in the Heavenly Realms!!
Jackie is survived by her children, Steve (Terri) Haaser, Donna (Jim) Smith, David (Regina) Haaser, Karen (Scott) Curnel, and Lisa (Mike) Klingner; her step children, Frank Wimberly, Sarah (Eric) Westra and Jessica (Jeff) Ward; and 18 grandchildren, 21 great, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Haaser, and her second husband Tom Wimberly, and her parents C.J. Smedley and Estella Brummett Smedley.
