

James "Jim" Vincent Morocco, 66, of Fort Smith, AR died February 5, 2013 in his home of natural causes. Jim was born in Imlay City, Michigan on March 25, 1946 to Sidric and Louise Morocco. He grew up in Rochester, MI, graduated from Brother Rice High School and attended The University of Detroit. He was also a sponsored candidate to attend MIT. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. He was a retired Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in Lean manufacturing. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and recipient of The Bronze Star. His hobbies and interests were woodworking, reading and gardening. He is preceded in death by his father, Sidric; mother, Louise; and sister, Michele Bonin.
Funeral service will be at noon, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Thompson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Jim is survived by his wife Ann Morocco of Fort Smith, three sons, Marc Morocco of Kalamazoo, MI, Eric Morocco of Chicago, IL , Kirk Morocco and his wife Ashley Morocco of Fort Smith and two grandsons, Tyler and Drew Morocco of Fort Smith.
Pall bearers are Marc, Eric, Kirk, Tyler, Drew, and Ashley Morocco.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 10 from 2-4 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.
