Jane K. Buskirk

Jane K. Buskirk, 64 of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013. She was born March 16, 1949 in Fort Smith to the late John Karl Dawson, Sr. and Jane Alice Blackman Dawson. She was a Homemaker and of the Baptist Faith and a 1967 graduate of Northside High School. She was an active member in the Ft. Smith Jaycettes the PTA at Ballman Elementary, Ramsey Junior High, and Southside High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Jan Karol Dawson Davis, and her brother John Karl Dawson, Jr.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2013 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Arrangements and cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. A private family committal service will be at Stroud Cemetery at a later date.

She is survived by her husband Jim of the home, two sons: Jason Buskirk of Prairie Grove, and Brian Buskirk of Hollywood, FL and two grandchildren: Dakota Buskirk and Leahaness Buskirk both of Prairie Grove.

Viewing will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
