

Jesus Negrete, 86 of Fort Smith died Saturday, July 28th, 2012. He was born on October 21, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, he served with the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division in World War II, he was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Post 31 and he was a retired bus driver for the City of Commerce, CA.
Rosary will be said 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will be at the Ft. Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Maria, of the home; two sons, Art Negrete of Ontario, CA and Rudy Negrete of Whittier, CA; two brothers, Julio Negrete of East Los Angeles, CA and Rosendo Negrete of Pico Rivera, CA; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
