Jim E. Cherry

Jim E. Cherry, 70, of Muldrow, OK, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. He was born July 29, 1942 in Fort Smith to the late U. D. Cherry, Jr. and Lorraine Condren Cherry. He was a retired Rancher. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow and a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation.

He was preceded in death by one brother Dennis Cherry.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow with burial at Muldrow Memory Gardens under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Vickie, two sons Wesley J. Cherry and Eric Cherry both of Muldrow and one brother Mike Cherry and wife Martha of Muldrow.

Pallbearers will be his nephews Steven, Shawn, Todd and Jonathan Cherry and Robert and Larry Ramey. Honorary pallbearers will be Benton Cone, Lonnie Younger, Fowler Sheffield, Doug Harvell, Carvin Bowline, Gene Fugett, Brent Robertson, Trudy Kelton, Margaret Young, Tom Talley, Stevie King, Ken Wheeless, Danny and Terry Goldsborough and Mick Randolph.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
