Joan Dime

Joan Dime, 93, of Fort Smith, died June 1, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born August 15, 1919 in Calhoun, Oklahoma to Samuel B. and Mary Catherine Hart Wilkins. She was retired from Kmart as the Food Department Manager. She was a member of the Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Gross and husband Raymond of Fort Smith and Linda Hild of Lavaca, AR; one son, Jerry Bridges and friend C.J. Forsgren of Fort Smith; three stepsons, Jimmy Dime and wife Peggy of Fort Smith, Paul Dime and wife Jessie of Fort Smith, and Steve Dime and wife Betty of Springdale, AR: numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Bridges and second husband Edward Dime; son, Jason Dime; grandson, Steve Dime, II; and granddaughter Kendra Dime. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in White Bluff Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bridges, II, Brad, Todd, and Kelsey Dime, Raymond R. Gross, and Micheal Hild. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM.
