Joe Earl Bowling

Joe Earl Bowling, 72, of Fort Smith died October 15, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born February 22, 1942 in Cleveland, AR to Joseph Fred and Claudia Alene Lefler Bowling. He was a retired employee of the Schlumberger Corporation and a member of the Sanctuary of Fort Smith Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Barnes Bowling of the home; two sons, Jeff and wife Regina Bowling of Fort Smith, and Scott and wife Robbin Bowling of Fort Smith; four brothers, Larry & wife Shirley Bowling of Fort Smith, Jim & wife Marie Bowling, Bob & wife Carolyn Bowling, and Bill & wife Carol Bowling all of Morrilton, AR; and four grandchildren, Meagan, Gavin, Hannah, and Peyton Bowling. Funeral service will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bob Belt, Bill Petty, Don McAllister, Mike Gore, Larry White, Hershel Snider, and Mack Lanthrip The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.
