Joe Allen Chamberlain

Joe Allen Chamberlain, 75, of Fort Smith, died December 22, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born December 30, 1939 in Fort Smith to A.M. and Genevieve Teacher Chamberlain. He founded the Chamberlain Mechanical, Inc in 1986, and his family has been the caretakers of the Barling City Cemetery for decades.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemary of Fort Smith; one son, Heath Chamberlain of Fort Smith; 3 sister in laws, Grace Harvey of Fayetteville, Betty Owen of Conway, and Dottie Lee of Pleasant Hill, CA; brother in law, Sid Rowley of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Zac, Lexie, & Kylie; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Beverly Chamberlain and Reba Brown.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Barling City Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Heath and Zac Chamberlain, Jack Lee, Jr., James Vigil, Joe Schoen, Gary Reynolds, and James Edwards.
