John A. Perdue

John A. Perdue, 63 of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was born March 26, 1953 in Poteau, OK to the late Allen and Imogene Perdue. He worked for Riverside Furniture for 32 years, he attended Living Faith Missionary Baptist Church, was a former leader of Venture Crew 1111 of the Boy Scouts of America and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel, with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Jean, of the home; a daughter, Amber Diemer and her husband Zack, of Vilonia, AR; a son, Blake Perdue and his wife Meranda, of Tahlequah, OK; a sister, Anna Perdue of Tulsa, OK; a grandson, Cody Burks of Alma and a granddaughter on the way, Charley Mae Perdue.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
