Jose Raul Hernandez Cruz, 40, of Fort Smith, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was born on November 1, 1985, in Mexico. Raul, as he was known to his family and friends, was a construction worker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Raul was an exceptional father. (Add content here)
He is survived by his wife Ana, of the home; four sons: Angel, Jose Giovanni, Ricardo and Cristian, also of the home; his parents, Amado Hernandez and Concepcion Cruz of Atlantic City, NJ; two brothers: Luis Alberto Hernandez (Cecilia), of Mexico City, Mexico, and Edwin Hernandez (Abigail), of Atlantic City.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rosary service starting at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday, May 29, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
