Joseph “Joe” Taylor Williams, Jr., 76, passed away at home December 20, 2012 in Cedarville, AR. He was born in Louisville, KY on June 12, 1936. Through his life journey he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a Sergeant in the Air Force Special Forces. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Katherine Williams, daughter Peggy Montgomery, great grandson Ara Lee Russell and other loved family members. Joe loved the holidays, his family finds comfort knowing he really will be “Home for Christmas”. Rest in Peace Dad.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Pavilion at Fort Smith National Cemetery with Rev. George Barham officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ruth, stepchildren, grandchildren and great grand Children.
