Josie Lee Parr, 82, of Fort Smith passed away on December 13, 2021. She was born on July 22, 1939 in Fort Smith, AR to Arthur Parr and Josephine Lillie Bridgers Parr. Josie enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, watching Hallmark movies and going to the Casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Phyllis Welling and six brothers.
Josie is survived by two daughters, Cindy Young of Fort Smith and Charlotte Harris (Alan) of Van Buren; one son, Alan Blanchard (Maria) of Saginaw, TX; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Graveside service will be 1 PM, Monday, December 20, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 PM till 4 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
