Juanita S Carson

Juanita Susan Carson, 97, of Fort Smith, died December 9, 2010 in Fort Smith. Juanita was born January 21, 1913 to William Truman and Mattie Head Crane. She was a Homemaker and former employee of David’s Pie Shop and she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Glidewell Bracken of Fort Smith; one brother, Jack Crane of Fort Smith; and three great grandchildren, Greg Glidewell, Jessie Glidewell, and Jennifer Adair. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Carson; six sisters, Pauline Wasson, Lela Graham, Helen Rice, Stella Allen, Mattie Lee Crane, and Anna Marie Crane; two brothers, Billy Hugh Crane and Glenn Crane; two grandsons, David Hugh and Bruce Van Glidewell; and one great grandson, Paul Glidewell.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Friday afternoon from 4-6 PM
