Judy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, RC Petree.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Newsom; children, Ron McGehee and wife Laura, Elane North, and Denise Ross and husband Kendall; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901, on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
