Karen Hunt Hanson, 68, of Fort Smith, died October 18, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born April 11, 1947 in Fort Smith to Alan Kyle and Daphana Wray Graham Hunt. She was a retired Vice President of Re/International Insurance Firm in California, and she was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith.
She is survived by one sister, Sharon Hayden of Fort Smith; and her dog and constant companion, Benson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Daphana Hunt and brother, William Hunt.
Memorial service will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
