

Kathie Adney, 69, passed away December 19, 2016. She was born December 16, 1947 in Vernal, Utah to Theodore Cloward and Doris (Massey) Cloward. Kathie’s passion in life was being a wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, homemaking, hosting parties, sewing and being a Nana. She was a member of Community Bible Church of Fort Smith.
Professionally, Kathie was a realtor for Ramona Roberts Realtors, and she was a member of the Board of Realtors, the Arkansas State Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Before becoming a realtor, Kathie was Head of Children’s Ministries at Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Lead Pre-School Teacher at First United Methodist Church and Lead Children’s Director of Bible Study Fellowship. Her favorite charity to volunteer and donate was Kitties and Canines and Spark’s Women’s Auxiliary.
Kathie is survived by her husband, Ken; three daughters, Aimee Hartsfield of McKinney, TX, Emily Moore and husband Brian of Springdale, AR and Amber Jackson and husband Jeff of Fayetteville, AR; two sisters, Cristina Plummer and Cindy Fugate, both of California; three brothers, Rocky and Robert Cloward of Nevada and Patrick Cloward of California; and she was a loving Nana to seven grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Community Bible Church, 9201 Dallas Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: The Double “D’s”, the Adney’s small group, and their “supper club.”
