Kenneth Dodson, 82, of Fort Smith, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at his home. He was born July 18, 1929 to George and Myrtle Dodson of New Blaine, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a master plumber and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by his son, David Dodson of Fort Smith; his brother Clyde Dodson and wife Pat of Arkoma, Ok; and by many loving friends, nieces, nephews, and spiritual brothers and sisters. He is also survived by two very kind and special ladies, Phyllis and Carol. The family would also like to thank Peachtree Hospice for their care and support. A committal of cremains will be at 11:00am Thursday at the Fort Smith U.S. National Cemetery with military honors. There will also be a family held memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Kelley Highway, Thursday evening at 6:00 PM.
