

Larrah Catherine Roberts, 81, of Fayetteville, formerly of Fort Smith, passed from this life November 7, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born December 3, 1934, in Clay County, Arkansas to the late Dennis and Piny Mayo Green. Larrah loved to sew and cook for her family and was known for her “Best in the World” peanut brittle. She was a seamstress for Rock Mound Ranchwear.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Pote and her husband Daniel of Booneville, Arkansas and Glenna Hedegard and her husband Scott of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Pote of El Paso, Texas, Larrah Jenkins of Fayetteville, Arkansas and April Davis and her husband Derek of Russellville, Arkansas; four great granddaughters; her nieces, Dot Palmer, Barbara Devine, Elizabeth Davis and Terri Stahl, as well as her nephews, Avery Smith and Byron Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Glen Roberts; her sister, Mayzell Permenter and two brothers, James (J.O.) Green and Ferrell Green.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, November 10, 2016 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends following the graveside service. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
At the family’s request, memorials can be made, in Larrah’s name, to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 East Longview Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
