Lee Bolton Jr.

Lee Bolton Jr., 91, passed from this life May 12, 2025. He was born May 20, 1933 in Hartford, AR to Lee and Jessie Bolton. He was a long-time and valued member of The Pentecostal Church. Lee served his church and community. He was Chaplain for 19 years at the Sebastian County Jail, until 2020. Lee was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict: met his wife, Ruth Helen and they were married June 19, 1955.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Helen; son, Paul E. Bolton; parents, Lee and Jessie Bolton; and four brothers.

He is survived by his children, Rancy (Jim) Cirner of Michigan. Shelly Bolton and Jason Bolton both of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor, Bobby Dault, and Amber Karrbowski; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; three siblings, Jerry Bolton of Mansfield, AR, Carlyon Myers of Alma, AR, and Melinda Ramey of Greenwood, AR.

Funeral Service will be 11:30 AM Monday, May 19, 2025 at The Pentecostal Church, 3700 Kelley Hwy. Fort Smith, AR 72904, with burial at 1:00 PM at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church, from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
