Lemuel Rust

Lemuel Rust, 81, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, in Fort Smith. He was born March 23, 1932 in Fort Smith to the late James Wesley Rust and Josie Pendergraft Rust. He was a Master Electrician and Electrical Inspector for the City of Fort Smith. He was a member of the IBEW Union and served on The State Electrical Board of Arkansas. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Moon officiating. Burial will be at Freedom Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Eva Faye, a daughter Mary Raney and husband Klahr of Horseshoe Bend, AR, a son Paul Rust and wife Robbie of Van Buren, AR, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bryan Rust, Andrew Rust, Jonathan Broniste, Klahr Raney, Bill Richmond and Mike Keener. The family will visit with friends Monday evening, September 30, 2013, at Edwards Funeral Home from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
