Linoel L Baker

Linoel “Lin” Lee Baker of Fort Smith passed away on December 14, 2022. He was born on October 29, 1938 to Bill and Ethel Baker at Fort Smith Hospital. He graduated in 1956 from Fort Smith High School. He served in the Arkansas Air National Guard from 1961-1967. He owned and operated Universal Joint Specialists on Towson Avenue for over 25 years. He was known for his love of cars and motorcycles.

Linoel is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Ethel Baker, a sister Betty Mayberry, a son Linoel Lee Baker Jr, and grandchildren Jessica Farrell and Dallas Lloyd.

Linoel is survived by 3 daughters, Lee Ann (Curtis) Swain of Branch, AR, Dr. Diana (Heath) Roe of Springfield, MO, and Jennifer Baker of Fort Smith, AR; 5 grandchildren, Michael Lloyd, Jeremy Swain, Renee Lloyd, Kendi Lloyd, and Zane Roe; 1 great grandchild, Alexis Farrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 2-4 pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2002, at 10 am at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
