Lois Ellen Johnson, 90, of Van Buren, died July 27, 2012 in Van Buren. She was born April 20, 1922 in Buchannan, MI to Lon James and Ardell Burnett Holmes. She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters; Sandra Harris and Cheryl Ratcliff and husband Bill all of Van Buren; one brother, Lon J. Holmes, Jr. of Berrien Spring, MI; two sisters, Phyllis Sorberg of South Bend, IN and Shirley Beyerle of Van Buren; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the First Presbyterian Church. Inurnment of cremains will be private, prior to the Memorial Service in the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium. Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
