Lori Ann Norin

Lori Ann Norin, 56 of Fort Smith, AR passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born on December 18, 1956 in Long Beach, CA to Shirley Anne Kelley of Pocola, OK and William Henry Clayton of Roseville, CA. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith since 1991 and a Fort Smith Public School teacher for ten years. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Rosary will be said 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel, where family will greet friends immediately following the rosary service. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by her husband Kenneth Norin, of the home; a daughter, Alexis Ann Norin of Fort Smith; two sisters, April L. Carlson of Greenwood and Kelly L. Lockhart of Pocola, OK; a brother, Charles Kelley and his wife Amanda of Spiro, OK; step-father, Vaughn Kelley of Pocola, OK; step-mother Kathie Thrailkil of Roseville, CA; a step-daughter, Kristen L. Taft-Kranz and her husband Jeff of Davenport, Iowa; a step-son, Steven Norin and his wife Erin of Cedar Falls, Iowa; six grandchildren, one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Wall, Tom Walton, Rod Nelson, Tyler Lockhart, Randy Norin and Henry Rinne.
