Lula “Deanie” Jackson, 74, of Fort Smith, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born on July 14, 1947 in Forrest City, AR to the late Anthony Louis and Hester Marie Sweeney. She was retired from Riverside Furniture Company. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Jackson.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation to follow.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Robinson (John) of Fort Smith; her son, Randall Morris (Alicia) of Fort Smith; a sister, Larue Haynes (Jerry) of Wynne, AR; two brothers, Johnny Nesmith (Ellie) of Marco Island, FL and Glen Sweeney (Brenda) of Hampton, VA; one grandchild, Taylor Johnson of Fort Smith, along with three great grandchildren; Kinzley, Kamdyn and Kaydence.
Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
