Margaret "Peggy" Martin

Margaret “Peggy” Martin, 90, of Fort Smith, AR, formerly of Muskogee, OK, died January 31, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born April 28, 1921 in Omaha, NE. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Muskogee, OK. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Vincent Martin, Jr and their dear son, David L. Martin.

She is survived by two daughters, Debby Alexander and her husband, Doug of Fort Smith, AR and Margie Duffy and her husband, Mark Sr. of Colleyville, TX; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Martin of Omaha, NE; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service will be held privately in Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK. Arrangements under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Duffy, Sr, Mark Duffy, Jr., Shane Carlson, Bruce Glover, Brent Glover, and Vince Martin.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, AR.
