Marjorie Deloris Roberson

Marjorie Deloris Roberson (Sweet), 78, of Fort Smith went to be with Lord on October 31, 2010. She was a graduate of Van Buren High School She retired as the director of Happy Day Educare Center (Quality Child Care) after 30 years. She was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of Haven Heights Baptist church in Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Webb. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Jack Roberson of Fort Smith. Her Son Rodney Roberson of Fort Smith and his wife Tanya, a son in law Tom Webb of Vilonia, a brother, Willie Sweet from California, Sister Laverne French of fort smith, and sister Lorene Snow of Rogers.

She was a Meme to Holly Zabalza, Martin Monty and Monique Zabalza, Amy Poston, Craig Poston, Heather Conklin, Madison Conklin, Jason Roberson, Hayden Roberson, Alesia Roberson, Marcus Roberson and Olivia May.

She alone was a caretaker to so many, and she will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Haven Heights Baptist Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Smith National cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM, Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home.

Pall Bearers will be Jason Roberson, Martin Zabalza, Monty Zabalza, Arch Conklin, David Poston and Todd Carson.
