Mark Pogue

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our little brother, Mark David Pogue. Mark, 64, departed earth on August 10, 2024 in Fort Smith. Mark was born December 15, 1959 in Fort Smith to William and Nan Pogue.

He loved sports and loved watching Nascar. After graduating from Northside High School, he attended Westark Community College. Mark previously worked for Crain Industries and Mickle, Wagner, Coleman Civil Engineering.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Bill Ferguson.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy Ferguson; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Marsha Pogue; nieces Aimee Ferguson and Kristen Ferguson, all of Fort Smith; Shaunna Warren and her husband Brandon of Cave Springs, AR; nephew Dax Pogue and his wife Brooke of Dawsonville, GA; as well as three great-nieces and three great-nephews.

To honor Mark’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
