Mary Ella Carter

Mary Ella Carter, 76, of Fort Smith, passed from this life on November 25, 2020. She was born on November 28, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Roy Reynolds and Mary Ellsworth Reynolds. Mary Ella worked for Rheem Manufacturing for more than 41 years before her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo, slots, going to yard sales and spending time with her family.

Mary Ella was preceded in death her parents; son, Mike France and sister, Sharon Thompson.

She is survived by one daughter, Tanya Bullington and husband Joe of Lavaca; one son, Scott France of Fort Smith; one sister, Willa Dean Young of Fort Smith; one brother, Gary Reynolds of Barling; five grandchildren, Christopher Bullington and wife Rachel of Pocahontas, Lakin Dean and husband Adam of Alma, Courtney Taylor and husband Kevin of Rapid City, SD., Ashley White and husband Tyler of Lavaca and Michael Scott France and wife Kaylin of Spiro, OK.

Graveside service will be 1 PM Monday, November 30, 2020 at Barling City Cemetery. Viewing will be at Edwards Funeral Home from 10 AM till 5 PM Sunday, November 29, 2020 with the family present from 3 PM till 5 PM. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
