Mildred Lois Bales, 85, of Fort Smith, died June 1, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was a lifelong member of the Northside United Pentecostal Church and retired owner operator of BB Ceramic Shop in Fort Smith. She was born July 23, 1925 in Fort Smith to Virgil Barney and Edna Ruth Silva Bevel.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years Billy F. Bales of the home; one daughter, Diana Ruth O’Bryan of Fort Smith; and one granddaughter, Bridgett Ruth O’Bryan of Spring Branch, TX. She was preceded in death by one great grandchild Griffin McDaniel.
Funeral service will be Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:30 AM in the Northside United Pentecostal Church will burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jule Wise, Wendell Mastin, Jessie Nickell, Gene Willyard, Lawrence Brautigan, and Anthony Allen.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men's Esteemed Elder Class of Northside United Pentecostal Church
