Mildred Nance

Mildred Nance, 94, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Tuesday August 12th, 2014. She was born August 16, 1919 in Jenny Lind, AR to the late Grover West and Ethel Mae West Moore. She was a retired Sales Representative for Stanley Home Products and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Nance. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 16th, 2014, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Stark officiating. Burial will be at Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by two daughters Kay Dishner and husband Chuck of Pottsboro, TX and Norma Luper Ketcham and husband Bill of Fort Smith, seven grandchildren Derek Dishner of Fort Worth, TX, Darrell Dishner of Dallas, TX, Stacey Olmsted of Sherman, TX, Jennifer Taylor of Sherman, TX, Tammy Luper of Fort Smith, Ginger Cordova of Fort Smith and Curtis Luper of Tulsa, OK, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Derek Dishner, Darrell Dishner, Curtis Luper, Preston Davis, Cameron Dishner and Chase Luper. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends Friday evening from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Grand Avenue Baptist Church, 3900 Grand Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72904.
