

Naoma Lewis-Brasher, 82, of Fort Smith, passed away peacefully, February 10, 2010 in Fort Smith following a lengthy illness. Naoma was a Homemaker, and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for thirty-five years. She was a devoted Christian and greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, L.L. “Kidd” Brasher of Havana, AR; one son, Phil Lewis and wife Kathy of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Michelle and husband Greg Palmer of Greenwood and Shannon Lewis of Destin, FL; and two great grandchildren, Haley and Landrey Palmer. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 42 years, Willie Lewis, her parents, Harvey and Anner J. Williams Clack and one sister Pearl Yandell.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service at 2:00 PM at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Waveland, AR all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Lewis, Greg Palmer, Charles Yandell, J.W. Davis, Leo Stepanian, and Mack McKinley.
The family will greet friends on Friday evening from 5-7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
