Paul Anthony Burgess, 73 of Mulberry, AR, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1950 in Little Rock, AR to the late Patrick and Eunice Gordon Burgess. Paul was a retired service manager for Scott Equipment Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith. Paul will be missed by many for his wealth of knowledge. A great son, brother, uncle, husband, dad and papa. He loved to go fishing with his family. A loving husband for 54 years, always making sure Sandy was taken care of.
He is survived by his wife Sandy, of the home; two sons, Paul Brian Burgess and his wife Melissa of Mulberry and Charles Burgess of Van Buren; a sister, Peggy Allday of Benton, AR, along with four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, February 5, 2024 at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
