Peggy B. Bedell

Peggy Bonita Bedell, 55, passed away July 7, 2011. She was born August 12, 1955, in Tucson, AZ to James and Eva Bazy Bowers. She was Secretary and Vice-President of Razz-Ma-Tazz Entertainment Group Inc., and she had formerly worked in the Physical Therapy Department at Cooper Clinic. She had also worked for Dr. Doug Parker as a physical therapist in Sports Medicine, and also had worked at Health South as a Physical Therapist. Peggy was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Hinkle and Reverend Lorenzo Lee officiating. Burial will be at Oak Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 5-7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her father; James Bowers Sr.

She is survived by her husband; Larry, 2 daughters; Antoinette Ransom of Los Angeles, CA and Amy Jo Bedell of Springfield, MO, 3 sons; Franqua Bedell of Starkville, MS, La Rai Bedell of Tulsa, OK and Aaron Bedell of Springfield, MO, her mother; Eva Louise Cox of Tuscon, AZ, 1 sister; Dwann Bowers of Winter Haven, FL, 1 brother; James Bowers Jr. of Winter Haven, FL, and 14 grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her loving brothers and sisters in-law, and her mother-in-law; Katherine Bedell.

Active pallbearers will be: Steve Adams, Eugene Scott, Ira Harris, Larry Rhodes, Billy McGill, and T. Baridi Nkokheli.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Adrian Bond, Ernie Bedell Jr., Michael Smith, Melvin Smith, Gary Bedell, Greg Givens Jr., Ryan Bedell, and David Bedell.
