Ramona N. Stokes

She was a Christian and faithful member of the Church of Christ and up until her illness pre-empted her attendance, she was devoted to the Park Hill congregation in Fort Smith.

In both her formal education and practical work experience, she was a secretary. From her start at the L.S.U. Alumni Association to an executive secretary and a legal secretary before retiring as a case coordinator with the circuit courts, she proudly served this profession.

Ramona is survived by one brother, Gary Stokes and wife Henrietta (Henrie); and two nephews, Sonny Michael and Blaine Michael Stokes, all of Fort Smith.

Viewing will be 9 AM till 6 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, AR by Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home, 508 Frisco Street, Marked Tree, AR. Local arrangements are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
