Rick L. Meyer

Rick L. Meyer, 58 of Gallatin, TN, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. He was born on January 16, 1963 in Russellville to Ed and Clara Meyer. Rick graduated from Southside High School in Fort Smith in 1981. He then continued his education and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a consultant working with a team from Life Cycle Engineering. Rick is preceded in death by his father, Ed Meyer; a brother, Timmy Martin; maternal grandparents, Clebert and Louise Loveless and paternal grandparents, Dr. Thomas and Melanie Rankin.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Memorial Services directly following at 11:00 A.M. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by two daughters, Allyson Meyer of Bentonville and Hillary Meyer of Fayetteville, NC; a son, Nicholas Meyer of Rogers; his mother, Clara Meyer of Fort Smith; two sisters, Becky Meyer of Fort Smith and Debbie Meyer of Joplin, MO; a brother, Steve Meyer and his wife Cindy, of Fort Smith; and two stepsisters, Judy Garner of Darnanelle and Dee Pless of Russellville. He is also survived by the mother of his children and dear friend, Valerie Meyer.
