Facebook lost a loyal customer on January 10, 2018. Robert L. Falkner died in his home in Fort Smith doing what he loved best. His other favorite pastimes included sightseeing throughout the Pacific Northwest, making people laugh, and instilling in the others a healthy distrust of government.
A frequent purveyor of life advice, perhaps his best tidbit might be "Never drive any farther that you have to while in reverse." If we can get that message out to enough people, then Bob would certainly feel like his mission here has been accomplished.
Bob would also probably like a mention of his service in the Navy, as a Seabee, in Vietnam.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Martha, and is survived by his son, David and daughter-in-law Megan, all of whom he loved, and who love him, very dearly.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, AR on Saturday the 20th at 2 p.m. with a memorial to follow at First Christian Church at 3 p.m.
